INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A most accessible missions field, right in your backyard

Our King has given us a commission to "make disciples of all nations" (Matt 28:19). American universities are full of thousands upon thousands of students from all over the world, giving us an opportunity to fulfill that call without leaving the US! They come from Saudi Arabia and Iran, from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and from the ends of the earth! And they are hungry for the gospel! This is a most accessible missions field.

If you would like for us to speak to your church or ministry about outreach to international students, or about global missions more broadly, please contact us. In addition to campus ministries, we are involved with global missions, particularly to the Muslim world. Let us help you get your congregation excited about missions!

If you would like more information, please reach out!

PARTNERSHIPS

One way to get involved with international student ministry is to partner with ministries that are already effectively engaging the population. Your denomination may already have resources in place to help with this.

Following are some organizations that we partner with, and that are effectively engaging with international students:

Bridges International

https://www.bridgesinternational.com/

Bridges International is a non-denominational ministry affiliated with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). Bridges does a great job of engaging international students, creating social events, as well as evangelism and discipleship. Here at P28, we partner with the Bridges chapter at Oklahoma State University: http://www.okstatebridges.com/

Chi Alpha International (XAi)

https://chialpha.com/get-involved/xa-internationals/

Chi Alpha is a campus ministry affiliated with the Assemblies of God. While not all Chi Alpha branches have an XAi outreach, many do. They do a wonderful job of engaging their international students, and including them as part of their regular activities. Here at P28, we partner with the XAi branch at Oklahoma State University https://www.osuxa.com/

REACHING MUSLIMS - AN OPEN DOOR

God is moving mightily in the Muslim world - Will you be part of this great end times harvest?

Chances are good that you have Muslims living in your community. Our King Jesus loves them so much that he gave his life for them, so that they can be forgiven for their sins and reconciled to the Father. Who will tell them? Will you?

It can be intimidating to engage people from a different culture and background, but it is really much easier than you think! Let us help you learn how to effectively engage Muslims in your community.

Can we provide you resources to equip you to reach Muslims with the love of Christ? We offer workshops on ministry to Muslims, and can work with your church or ministry to find custom solutions to help you engage the lost in your community.

Please contact us if we can help you.

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."

Matthew 18:12-14
